3D Aim Trainer Raises $1.21M Investment to Fuel Team Growth and Product Development – The Esports Observer

Belgian technology startup 3D Aim Trainer announced that it has secured a €1M EUR ($1.21M USD) financing round led by its existing investor Freshman Fund, which also participated in the initial angel round of 3D Aim Trainer back in July 2019. Further investors that participated in the investment round include Ron Doornink, the former CEO and president of Activision and ex-chairman of Turtle Beach, and Jean-Bernard Moens, the vice president of gaming and business at Activision Blizzard’s mobile game studio King.

The company, which was founded in July 2019 and develops software to help FPS gamers improve their aim, revealed that it will use the investment proceeds “for three main purposes: expanding the team, bringing the product to other platforms, and making aim training fun.” Since its establishment, the company grew its monthly active user base to nearly 700K and expanded its team from the original three founders to 17 full-time employees.
